Staking

BNB Smart Chain staking

What delegating actually paid, read from each validator’s own StakeCredit ledger. Every rate here is measured — the contract records what reached the delegators’ pool, with the commission already taken out of it.

Rewards come from transaction fees, not inflation

BNB Smart Chain issues nothing for staking. Validators are paid out of transaction fees, so the yield follows how busy the chain is rather than an emission schedule — which is why it sits near 1% where Solana’s sits near 5%, and why there is no protocol rate here to check the measurement against. The measurement is the only source, and it is the validator’s own contract.

Every validator

Ordered by what a delegation earned over the last 7 days. One day is a sample rather than a rate: a validator only earns while it is producing and the elected set of 45 rotates, so daily returns vary by roughly 15% either side of the figure shown.

Take it awayCSV— BNB Smart Chain staking yieldsJSON— BNB Smart Chain staking yieldsevery validator, not only the filtered view

Every rate here is measured from the validator's own StakeCredit ledger, which records what reached the delegators' pool — the commission has already been taken. BNB Smart Chain issues nothing for staking: validators are paid out of transaction fees, so the yield follows how busy the chain is rather than an emission schedule, and there is no protocol rate to check it against.

Where the number comes from

The contract keeps the books

Every validator has its own StakeCredit contract holding its delegators’ BNB, and that contract keeps a daily ledger: how much was added to the pool, and how large the pool was. A day’s return is one division of the two.

Nothing has to be inverted out of it. On Solana the chain reports what it paid the validator, so the delegators’ share must be recovered from the commission; here the ledger records what reached the pool, which is what a delegation grows by.

What BNB per share is

A delegation buys shares in the pool. Rewards are added to the pool without issuing shares against them, so each share is worth a little more every day — the column is the cumulative record of every daily reward in the table beside it.

It cannot be compared across validators as a measure of quality. A pool that opened last month starts near 1.00 whatever it pays, and one that has run since the Feynman fork is higher for having existed longer.

MEV is not included. Nothing here estimates what a validator earns outside the protocol’s own accounting, on this chain or any other. Full methodology
